Don't Let Your Body Overheat
Don’t bundle up in 5 layers when you go to work out. Most people think putting on lots of layers will help you sweat more and lose weight faster. It’s actually unhealthy and almost dangerous to swathe up and overheat yourself. You need to let your body breathe and let the sweat out. Trapping the heat from your body as you run or work out is like being stuck in a room without any ventilation. It can make you feel nauseous, light-headed, and tired. It will also prevent you from having a healthy balance between heat/sweat and cooling off.
Without the extra layers, your body will work to warm up your body, thus allowing you to gradually work up to a safe and compatible level of workout.
