Hoodia - The Natural Appetite Suppressant
Hoodia is all the rage in the dieting world. It is one of the few peer-reviewed, double-blind, and placebo-controlled weight loss and diet products on the market. Because of this there are an almost inexhaustible number of products with very little variation.
Hoodia is the famous endangered cactus found along the Kalahari Desert in South Africa and consumed by wandering Bushmen in their forages to reduce hunger pangs. The active ingredient, the P-57 molecule has been isolated by science, and proven to reduce hunger. There is only one way of getting pure Hoodia, and that is through the government of South Africa.
The claim is that by taking this supplement you will in turn lose your desire to eat. Suppressing your appetite will help you eat less and reduce your calories intake and hence reduce your weight. This could serve a purpose, well if you can allow it to work.
My biggest complaint about Hoodia is that it contains no weight loss or calorie fighting ingredients. Most dieters can hardly be accused of massive amounts of self control. Hoodia can work, only if you allow it to stop you from munching. But if you are in the habit of eating too much it may not be effective from stopping you from eating. They contain no fat blockers or fat burning ingredients. So use it for what they are engineered for, and hope it helps you stay strong.
