Cheater's Diet
Have you ever just wanted a break from your diet to eat what you want to eat? Well with the new “Cheaters Diet” you actually eat whatever you want over the weekend. Designed by Dr. Rivas the “Cheaters Diet” promotes a strict diet Monday thru Friday and then allows you to eat whatever you want on the weekend.
During the week the diet encourages foods that are low in calories and rich in healthy monounsaturated fats, lean meats and whole grains. Allowed foods include, seafood, vegetables, lean cuts of meat, olive oil, salads and berries. However foods such as sugar, bread, saturated fats or alcohol are not allowed during the week.
Then on the weekend you are actually encouraged to cheat. However, don’t think you are just going to be able to go hog wild as there are still a few restrictions. But unlike most diets you will be able to eat such treats as ice cream, pizza, cinnamon buns, chocolate, beer, and wine.
While there isn’t any scientific proof that the cheaters diet will help you lose weight, there are plenty of people out there who swear by it. So if the worst part of dieting for you is not being able to eat your favorite treats, then this will be the right diet for you.
